Surah Al-A'raf, ayah 143

وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَـٰتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِىٓ أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ لَن تَرَىٰنِى وَلَـٰكِنِ ٱنظُرْ إِلَى ٱلْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ ٱسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُۥ فَسَوْفَ تَرَىٰنِى ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُۥ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُۥ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًا ۚ فَلَمَّآ أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [Allāh] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first [among my people] of the believers."

  18. ٱلْجَبَلِl-jabalithe mountain
  19. فَإِنِfa-ini[then] if
  20. ٱسْتَقَرَّis'taqarrait remains
  21. مَكَانَهُۥmakānahuin its place
  22. فَسَوْفَfasawfathen
  23. تَرَىٰنِى ۚtarānīyou (will) see Me
  24. فَلَمَّاfalammāBut when
  25. تَجَلَّىٰtajallārevealed (His) Glory
  26. رَبُّهُۥrabbuhuhis Lord
  27. لِلْجَبَلِlil'jabalito the mountain
  28. جَعَلَهُۥjaʿalahuHe made it
  29. دَكًّۭاdakkancrumbled to dust
  30. وَخَرَّwakharraand fell down
  31. مُوسَىٰmūsāMusa
  32. صَعِقًۭا ۚṣaʿiqanunconscious
  33. فَلَمَّآfalammāAnd when
  34. أَفَاقَafāqahe recovered
  35. قَالَqālahe said
  36. سُبْحَـٰنَكَsub'ḥānakaGlory be to You
  37. تُبْتُtub'tuI turn (in repentance)
  38. إِلَيْكَilaykato you
  39. وَأَنَا۠wa-anāand I am
  40. أَوَّلُawwalu(the) first
  41. ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَl-mu'minīna(of) the believers
